school again
Vacation has really thrown me out of the loop, but maybe now that I'm in school again I'll be on a regular blog schedule. In my first class of the semester we talked about the history of sugar and its realtion to the evolution of consumer culture. Check out this book if you're interested: Sweetness and Power: The Place of Sugar in Modern History by Sidney W. Mintz.
